This was my first visit to Perry's Automotive. Based on online reviews as well as recommendations from numerous folks, I decided that this was the place to go! I felt as if I was Family from the minute I walked in. I was greeted by Ami and Jeremy and they explained exactly what the process would be to repair my A/C system. As I waited a short time for the diagnosis it became clear to me that this is a very special place! Service experts Ami and Patrick greeted 99.9% of the folks who came into the office by their first names. This is a busy place so that is quite a feat! I could go on and on but the bottom line is that my service was completed a day early...the work was "First Class"...recommendations were made about unknown safety issues...my windshield wipers were all replaced at no cost...for payment I was offered awesome financing with 6 month 0% interest that also extended the warranty for the service on my car to 3 years...and best of all, Ami contacted the car manufacturer and because of the newer car with low mileage, and working her magic, she was able to procure a very large discount for me!! I have a bad habit of going on and on, (no kidding huh!), so I will wrap this up. Perry's Automotive will be my "Family Service Center" for as long as I own an automobile! Being self employed for the majority of my life I understand the importance of good ol' fashioned service...Everyone at Perry's offers this kind of service, and so much more, all delivered with a smile! Everyone at Perry's was very kind and respectful. They didn't talk down to me like other places I've been just because I'm a woman. They explained everything they did so that I could understand it. I didn't feel pressured into getting hundreds of dollars in repairs. They gave me the facts and let me choose if I wanted the work done then or not. The pricing was very reasonable and the work was done right the first time. I will be going back to Perry's in the future. I'm pretty picky about customer service and they had EXCELLENT customer service.
Always have a good experience with this automotive repair. I have been using them ever since we moved to Redding. I have confidence in their automotive skills and record keeping. They are always ready willing and able to address my car needs with a smile followed by knowledge and good work.
I recently bought my first diesel pickup and I was referred to Perry's Auto by another shop in town as being the best at working on the 6.5 L turbo diesel engines which my 95' Silverado has. Not only did the mechanics at Perry's do a great job and I can truly call them experts on the 6.5's but what also made my experience great was the customer service. I called in advance to schedule a day to drop off my truck, and when I dropped it off they got to work on it that day. And they called me frequently with an update on how things are going. I can't say how many mechanics I've been to that don't keep the customer informed on how things are going and take forever even after I scheduled a day to drop off my vehicle. Perry's had my truck fixed in a reasonable time even with having to order parts and kept me informed of the progress. I am very happy with their work and I will be a regular customer.
My wife and I have been taking our vehicles to Perry's Automotive for the past 12 years or so, and they've essentially become our "family doctor" for our vehicles. In addition to always providing great and prompt service, they truly care that their customers walk away satisfied. They may not be the least expensive shop in town but you truly get what you pay for, and I know I'm getting the most life out of our vehicles by using them for routine maintenance. I've never had to take a vehicle back to them for a mis-diagnosis or faulty workmanship, and they have specialty tools and excellent troublshooting skills that have in comparison to other shops I've used in the past. There's also something to be said for a shop where the majority of their technicians have been there for more than a decade, and it's great to support a local, family owned shop. I highly recommend Perry's Automotive to anyone that is looking for top-notch service, attention to detail and a shop that cares about the long-term health of the vehicle and customer satisfaction.
