WHAT A GHETTO! First off, after spending over a half hour cleaning up our RV sight of dog poop, cigarette butts, and other garbage, and not to mention having to empty the sites overflowed garbage cans. The fire pits were full of garbage and basically useless. Then like clockwork, the manager was almost always harassing us for payment, and at one point, informing someone in our group that "We were causing them to lose money" on the sights we reserved 6 months in advance. This was a family reunion, and we made it perfectly clear we were just waiting for others to arrive, and they were "OK" with that, but to turn around and start with these types of accusations was very poor on their part. Then to add insult to injury, late at night, the home behind us had dogs barking all night. Come to find that when the campground manager was approached with the issue, he informed us "That's the owner of the campground and he could give a hoots less about it". I give this establishment a NEGATIVE 5 stars! If your looking to hide from the law or lay low, this place might be a perfect fit! The only good thing about this place is the "Permanent Residents" were very quiet and kept to themselves. Other than that, what a dump!

Great people and very clean. Prices are reasonable and close to Shasta Lake
I live here. Its beautiful with lots of trees. Clean. The people are nice. We even have a peacock running around. Close enough to the city yet far enough away from the tipical hustle of it all. I think anyone looking to live in a relaxing invirement will love it here!
The little cabins are very nice, along with the people who work there. This is a very popular place for bass fisherman to stay before a tornament
