The area seems clean, including the pit toilets. Water is plentiful.

We were the only ones there at this time of year, but we enjoyed it. One can drive several miles further on the road to eventually get to the marina - we stopped at the overlook parking area, but the road continues down. The water level was so low, that there was a peek-a-boo look of water.

On the plus side it was completely vacant. So I had my choice of sites. On the negative side it is a very densely packed campground. If it was busy it would be annoying to have people on top of you. It does have bear boxes, fire pits and concrete picnic tables. As well as outhouses. Perhaps due to all the concrete and asphalt but the site also holds in heat. It was still very muggy and hot ( and not breezy) well after dark. Lots of bugs in the daytime, not so many at night. Didn't see any critters either, but I still cleaned up very well after myself.

This road goes around the camp area about 30' above on the surrounding hill. There is a surprising amount of traffic heading to/from the marina. One hears vehicles approaching from afar, and it takes a minute or so for the vehicle noise to end.

The Ranger recommended this camp area, and we stayed there a night in mid-October, 2013. He said it had a view of the lake, but it doesn't (maybe the camp area up the hill?). There are 10 or so sites, and interestingly, many sites use pavers in addition to concrete drives. Also nice sized fire rings, many with built-in grills.

Good camping experience

May check back in the fall if I am headed up to Oregon again.

Loved loved loved the place! Deffinatly would return in future visits! Beautiful view!

Great camp ground for the family. When the water is high it's not too far of a walk from the campground.
