The major downside during the rock n bowl was the music. :(

The guy at the counter admitted there were numerous complaints about the music but couldn't change it. It would have been a great experience without all of the heavy metal junk they were playing.
This is a great local bowling alley in Redding. Great beer selection. People are exceedingly friendly. Approach is well kept up, you can slide on your approach. Some bowling alleys do not keep up on the approach, so the approach becomes tacky and sticky. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. We have a had great time each time we have visited there. Redding is the halfway point for us to visit family so we stop at Westside pizza and go bowling. It's a great rest stop with a good beer selection.
Older facility but still in good shape. The bumpers don't always come all the way up but still a fun time. Get there early on the weekend. It can get busy. There is frequently a waiting list.
